Arrival Information and Housing
Two weeks prior to the start of the program the pre-departure file will be sent to all participants. This file contains the daily schedule, information about accommodation and relevant contact information of the program managers.
Participants of the program are expected to notify ISU staff as soon as they have finalized their travel arrangements regarding their time and place of arrival.
Organized travel during the program, as well as transfer from one country to another during the program, is covered by the program fee. Students need to follow these travel arrangements provided by the program managers. Travel within cities is the responsibility of the students on designated public transportation, unless charter service is provided.
The accommodation in all locations is provided either at international student dorms or at hostels in the city centre. There will be double occupancy with shared bathroom. In the event a student wishes single accommodation, he/she needs to notify the staff of the International Summer University at least one month in advance. If the request can be satisfied, an additional charge will apply. Towels and sheets are provided.
