Tallinn Summer School in Maritime Law


The City Law School, City University London, in close cooperation with the University of Tartu and law firms Blas de Lezo and SORAINEN are organizing a Tallinn Summer School in Maritime Law. The Summer School will equip those who attend with a detailed insight into issues of current importance in the areas of shipping, land transport and European law. The staff of the Summer School includes distinguished practitioners and academics with extensive experience in maritime and transportation law. With their help, the program provides a major learning resource for lawyers and business people as well as for interested students. Participants are recruited from the Baltic States, Scandinavia, Spain and the UK, but also from other countries.

The Summer School takes place on 3-7 September 2012 in Tallinn, at the Law Institute of the University of Tartu. The participation fee is EUR 950. The discounted rate applicable to students is EUR 450.
