Cancellation and refund policy

If a student wishes to cancel the participation, he/she is required to give written notice to the university via e-mail, fax or letter, using the contact information at the ISU webpage. If the student cancels the participation up to one month prior to the beginning of the program, he/she will receive full refund. If the cancellation notification is given less than one month before the start of the program, no refunds are given.

If a student requires a visa to enter the Schengen visa area, Ukraine or Russia, the following refund policy applies. In order to issue the visa invitation, full payment for the program has to be received by the University of Tartu. Once the Letter of Invitation - which is the basis for applying for the Schengen visa - has been issued, no refunds are given. Except when the participant is refused a visa and this decision has been verified to the University of Tartu prior to the start of the program.
